Birkirkara FC Youth Academy address Youth FA session

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy, and Dingli Swallows nursery were last week invited by the Youth Football Association to share with the other nurseries their experience of pooling their resources, and working together.

Coerver Coaching, in collaboration with the Birkirkara FC Youth Academy, will once again be holding a Summer School, between Thursday 7 July and Thursday 28 July, at Birkirkara FC's Training Centre.

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team played their hearts out in the Knockout Final but a goal by Clyde Bouvett mid-way through the second half gave opponents Pieta Hotspurs a narrow 1-0 victory to claim the Knockout trophy.

Youth Academy End of Season Event

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy will be organising its annual end of season event on Saturday, 28 May with a Barbeque at the Infetti Training Centre from 19:30 onwards. This event will bring down the curtain on another successful and satisfactory season.

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team completed their league commitments with a positive note when with the odd goal in five, they defeated Balzan FC with a 3-2 score thanks to a brace by Gianluca Zammit and Ayrton Attard.

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team's commitments in the Girls Under-16's League Section A came to an end last Sunday when in the last match, they were defeated by Mgarr United with a 3-1 score despite a satisfactory performance.

Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team fell to a 2-0 defeat to Pieta Hotspurs in the APS Bank Under-17's League Section A. Pieta emerged victorious thanks to a goal in each half to condemn the Stripes to their third consecutive defeat.

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team registered a wonderful victory in the Girls Under-16's League when with a goal in each half by Samantha Zarb and Sarah Urpani awarded them a fine 2-0 victory to consolidate their fourth place position.

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team ended their league commitments with a narrow 2-1 defeat to Mosta in the APS Bank Under-15's Section A League. The Stripes had brought a temporally equaliser in the second-half by Glenn Attard.

Under-15's Team reach Knockout Final

Birkirkara FC Under-15's Team advanced to the Under-15's Knockout Final last Thursday evening. The Stripes produced a wonderful comeback and eliminated Hamrun Spartans by the penalty shoot-out after there was nothing to separate both sides with a 2-2 draw after the ninety minutes and the extra-time period.

Birkirkara FC Girls Under-16's Team gave a determined performance but it wasn't enough to take something from the match as two first-half goals by Tarxien Rainbows before Michela Felice pulled one back saw them emerging as winners with a 2-1 score.

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy Penalty Shoot-Out

Birkirkara FC Youth Academy is having a Penalty Shoot-out on Sunday, 3 April at the Infetti Training Centre from 09:00 onwards. The event will be open for the Academy players, boys and girls aged between five and thirteen years old.
