Birkirkara suffered what could be described the most disappointing defeat so far in the current league campaign, when they were beaten by 10 men Qormi. The latter ironically enough, managed to score twice after they had a player sent off to emerge as winners with a score of 2-0.

Birkirkara failed to produce any satisfactory level of play and it was only some isolated long distance shots that created the only danger for the strong and solid Qormi's defence.

It was the third loss under the helm of Mr. Paul Zammit and like the previous season, many consider consistency, or actually the lack of it, as biggest Birkirkara's weakest point.
