Women's Team in league decider

It has been tagged as a "decider week" for Birkirkara FC. Tomorrow evening, the Women's Team will be seeking to capture the third consecutive title, when they take part in the BOV Women's First Division League title decider against Hibernians FC.
Judgment day has finally arrived for Birkirkara and Hibernians. The two most consistent teams in the league will cross swords in the highly anticipated decider match to determine this year's First Division League winner.
For much of the past nine months, the two title hopefuls have been embroiled in a tug-of-war for the top spot. Both teams had moments when they slipped up but, after the end of the BOV Women's First Division League, there was nothing to separate these two, and it will be tomorrow's showdown to decide which team will be crowned champions.
The 5-0 victory over the Paolites in their last encounter certainly boosts Birkirkara's hopes of capturing their third consecutive title, but the Stripes are certainly ready for a much bigger challenge from Hibernians.
Mr. Johann Scicluna, the Women's Team Coach, said “I would like to start by saying well done to all my players. With the sacrifices they made, we managed to be in the top position despite having faced several difficulties. I'm expecting a very balanced match as it is a high-level match. It is in these type of matches that the squad shows its true strength and attitude.
“I would like to invite all the Birkirkara supporters to come and support us. Your support is essential to us. I believe that tomorrow's clash will see the Birkirkara supporters to turn in numbers to the stadium, and we'll do everything to repay them by leaving the stadium with the cup”
The match will be played at the Centenary Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 19:00.
