Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team registered their first victory in the Under-19's League Section A, when they outclassed Zabbar St. Patrick's FC with a comfortable 5-0 score.

After opening their title defence commitments with a narrow defeat to Mosta FC, the Champions bounced back with a very satisfactory performance to win the first three points of the new league campaign.

Birkirkara enjoyed a two goal lead by the end of the first half, before adding another three to their tally in the second half. The goals were scored thanks to a brace by Clint Zammit and goals by Kurt Zammit, Russell Gatt De Raffaele and Aaron Montebello.

The Stripes surged ahead midway the first half when in a fast transition, Clint Zammit his team ahead with a fine finish. Five minutes from half time, from a mix-up in the defence, Kurt Zammit made them two to see the Stripes leading by two at the break.

In the second half, Birkirkara scored another three goals. Ten minutes into the second half, Russell Gatt De Raffaele scored a direct free-kick following a foul on Clint Zammit. Ten minutes later, the same two players were involved into action when Russell served Clint who tapped home. Fifteen minutes from time, Birkirkara scored their last goal thanks to Aaron Montebello following another mix-up in the defence.

Birkirkara will be involved in their next match against Hibernians FC on the 27 November. The match will be played at the Centenary Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 20:00.
