Stripes, Hibernians in FA Trophy Final

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to clinch their fifth FA Trophy, when in the much-awaited match, they take on Hibernians this afternoon.

Birkirkara and Hibernians, rated as the best two sides on the island, will be facing off in the seventy-seventh FA Trophy Final. The Stripes will be aiming to win their second honour of the season, after winning the BOV Super Cup in the beginning of the season while Hibernians will be aspirating to complete the double.

Before reaching the final, the Stripes defeated Valletta with a 1-0 score thanks to a goal by Paul Fenech in the extra-time period while Hibernians scored a goal in each half to beat Qormi with a 2-0 score.

The match will be played at the National Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 17:00. Tickets booths for the National Stadium will open at 15:00 for the Millenium and North (Curva) Stands. By order of the Police, Birkirkara supporters must approach from the direction of Mosta and park their cars in the West Side Parking and the nearby roads.
