Birkirkara FC signs Bruno Marotti

by Ivan Mizzi - 6th July 2016

Birkirkara FC concluded the fifth signing during the Summer Transfer Window when just a few moments ago, Croatian Bruno Marotti signed a one year contract with our Club.

Marotti, aged just 22, plays as a midfielder, who also can play as defender. He is a product of Dinamo Zagreb, and is described as a fast and technical player.

Bruno has represented Croatia through all the youth ranks, as he played with the Under-16, Under-17, Under-18 and Under-19 National teams of Croatia. During the last season, he was playing in the highest division of Slovenia with NK Krka where he was a regular choice and made thirty-three appearances.

Following completing his Youth Career with Dinamo, he moved to another Croatian Club Radnik Seveste where he spent three successful seasons. He won a regular place and made a total of sixty-five appearances before moving to NK Krka.

He is the third foreigner to join the squad this summer following the acquisitions of Jovic and Dimitrov in mid-June and he is considered as another important signing.

We would like to welcome Bruno while we wish him all the best of luck with our Club.
