Ann-Marie Said renews her stay with Birkirkara FC

by Ayrton Galea - 20th August 2017

Birkirkara FC Women's Team completed their second major signing as National Team defender Ann-Marie Said, who was another protagonist for last season's double success, has rejoined the Club on a one-season loan from Gozo FC.

Ann-Marie established herself as one of the best players on the island during the last season. The versatile defender was nominated for the MFA Best Women's League Player and the MFPA Best Female Player.

Said, who turned 23 last month, was a key-player for the Stripes. She made nineteen appearances and scored two goals. The strong defender is also a regular player of the National Team.

Ann-Marie becomes the second signing for the Stripes, after last week Tracy Teuma re-joined the Club following a very successful season.

We would like to welcome Ann-Marie while wishing her all the best of luck in her second year of experience with our Club.
