Birkirkara FC Under-17's Team registered their second consecutive victory in the preliminary group phases, as they defeated Zejtun Corinthians FC with a comfortable 4-1 score.

The Stripes made sure of the second victory with three goals in the first-half. Sebastian Grech put the Stripes ahead and Jean Paul Baldacchino doubled the lead before Grech scored his second personal goal.

Zejtun pulled one back in the second half, but the Stripes quickly restored a three-goal lead thanks to Angelo Migliore. Birkirkara were unlucky not to make them five when Harley Bugeja's shot from outside the box smashed against the crossbar.

Birkirkara will be involved in the next match on Saturday, 9 September, when they will take on Zejtun Cortinthians again. The match will be played at the Rabat Ajax Grounds and it will kick off at 19:45.
