Birkirkara FC Women Under-19's Team suffered a 5-1 defeat against Gozo FC in the Women Under-19's League Section A. With one match to go, the Stripes has their second place confirmed, as they are four points over third-placed Raiders FC.

Gozo surged ahead after just sixteen seconds by Maria Farrugia but Veronique Mifsud scored a stunning direct free-kick from the Birkirkara half-pitch to make the score even at the break.

Maria Farrugia regained Gozo's lead with a wonderful direct free-kick and there was no way back. Thea Borg made them three for the Gozitians and Farrugia added another two late goals to add further gloss on the victory.
