Match Preview: Birkirkara FC vs. St. Andrew's FC

by Ayrton Galea - 14th April 2018

Birkirkara FC will be seeking to keep their hopes alive of finishing in the top-four of the BOV Premier League, when they take on St. Andrew's FC.

The Stripes suffered their second defeat in three matches last weekend, as they fell to a 3-1 defeat to Hibernians FC. The Stripes lost further grip on finishing in the third place as Gzira United FC opened a four-point gap with the Stripes with just two matches to go.

On the other hand, following back to back defeats against Sliema Wanderers FC and Valletta FC respectively, St. Andrew's FC returned to winning ways last weekend as they defeated Lija Athletic FC with a 2-1 score.

Both players will be unable to field their best formation as Mislav Andelkovic is suspended for the Stripes after he was sent off in the last game, while Joseph Farrugia is suspended for St. Andrew's after collecting four yellow cards.

The match will be played Hibernians Stadium and it will kick off at 16:00.

Come on the Stripes!
