Three players from women team suspended

The MFA Disciplinary Commissioner has announced that three Birkirkara Women players, that is Maryrose Cardona, Kelly Agius Pace and Stephania Farrugia will be suspended for the next decisive match against Mosta which will be played next Tuesday.

Birkirkara FC would like to invite all its supports to a unique event this Sunday at Valley Road Birkirkara. Valley Road will be turned into a pedestrian zone from 16:00. Food stalls and bars will provide refreshments.

Under 17s End Season On A High Against Sliema

Our Under 17s managed to finish their league campaign with a win after beating fellow mid-table outfit Sliema Wanderers 4-2 in an action packed second half. It was indeed a tale of two halfs where, after a goalless first half, the floodgates opened and a total of six goals were scored. This win was not enough for Birkirkara to end their commitments in the first four places since they are presently 5th, with having leapfrogged the same Sliema and San Gwann with two points, but the Saints still have to play their final match.

U19 beat Floriana to end in fifth place

Birkirkara ended their league commitments on a positive note when in a clash for the fifth place, the Stripes defeated Floriana with a 5-2 score.

Under 15s Bag Important Win Against Rabat

Birkirkara Under 15s returned to winning ways last Saturday as they managed to beat Rabat Ajax 2-1, who are fighting bravely against relegation and, as the end result shows, the game was a hard fought affair, even though the Stripes shaded most of the initiative. This was a very important win ahead of the direct clash for promotion with Qormi, who are still two points above Birkirkara having played a game more.

The Malta Football Association has announced that the match between Birkirkara and Tarxien Rainbows which was scheduled to be played this Friday will now be played this Saturday, 4 May at the National Stadium, kicking off at 17:00.

Women's team held by Gozo

Birkirkara Women's Team utmost efforts were not enough to pick up the three points when despite dominating for most of the match they were unluckily held in a 1-1 draw against Gozo in a match that had different episodes which effected the final result.

Under 15s Beaten by Leaders San Gwann

Birkirkara Under 15s were beaten in the Section B top of the table clash with San Gwann 4-1. A defeat which leaves our boys with no more margin of error in their quest to secure the second placing in the rankings, which means promotion to Section A. Thanks to this win San Gwann have mathematically secured top spot and will be promoted as champions of Section B.

Birkirkara Under 19's Team suffered the league's ninth defeat when despite surging ahead, Valletta turned the match in their favour as Birkirkara were defeated with a 4-1 score by the Citizens.
