Registration, Paperwork and Kits
The Birkirkara F.C. Youth Nursery would like to invite new recruits, both boys or girls, to join the nursery. We welcome all players born in 2008 or before. New Players must register on our new Registration Form. Interested parties are to call personally at the Infetti Training Grounds, P.P. Castagna Street, Birkirkara, accompanied by one of their parents or legal guardians presenting the Registration Form from Monday to Friday between 6:30pm to 7:30pm.
Along with the registration form, you must supply the following:
- Original Birth's certificate as proof of age
- One passport size photo
- The Medical Test Form (imposed by the Malta Football Associsation for your's child health and safety)
- The Youth Football Association Enrolment Form (where applicable*)Players registered with the Birkirkara F.C. Youth Nursery
The Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery Committee deemed fit that to have its own database updated, players already registered within it, shall fill in the Registration Form too. However, there is no need to supply the player’s birth certificate and the passport size photo. Also, the child is required to supply the medical test form and the Youth Football Associsation Enrolment Form (where applicable*)
The Youth Football Association Enrolment Form
The YFA is instructing all local nurseries to fill in the U11 and U9 forms. You are therefore kindly asked to fill in the appropriate form below:
For children aged 9 to 10 years old please fill in the Under 11 form.
For children aged 6 to 8 years old please fill in the Under 9 form.
Both forms are provided in Maltese and English.
All paperwork must be completed till by 24 September, 2012.
Please attach an original birth certificate and two passport photos to this form.
Age Regulation
The regulation states that whatever age a player turn in 2013 becomes the age group for football:

Registration Fees
The registration fee is a one-off seasonal payment that covers some of the general costs of the club such as: nursery affiliation, ground maintenance, training equipment, facility improvements as well as administration costs. The club covers further costs by raising funds from social events which we encourage you to participate, sponsorship and with contributions from various organisations.
The nursery’s expenditure is a huge burden on its finances and registration money is vital to the nursery’s welfare and future existence. Guardians are expected to pay these fees promptly.
Fees have remained the same as last season:

Sibling Discount: Families with two or more children enrolled with the Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery are welcome to take advantage of our sibling discount policy. We offer a 20% discount in the smaller registration fee for two or more children who are enrolled.
Please note that Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery will accept registration fees to be paid by not later than the first week of October. Birkirkara FC Youth Nursery has a NO PAY NO PLAY policy. No player can train or play until registration fees have been paid in full after the first week of October.
If payments are a hardship for you, please contact the Administrator of the nursery, Jonathan Barbara or the Treasurer Anthony Debono to discuss a payment plan. We will work with families who find themselves with financial hardships.
Season 2012-2013
The 2012-2013 season will start at the 1st August 2012 for the Under 14's till the Under 17's, at the 1st September 2012 for the Under 13's and at the 24th September 2012 for the Under 5's till the Under 12's. The season will come to an end on the 31st May 2013.
Kits for the Under 5's till the Under 17's
Birkirkara FC has agreed terms with Eurosport for the supply of the new ADIDAS nursery uniform for the next 3 seasons. The whole package consisting of yellow short sleeve top, yellow long sleeve top, red shorts, yellow socks, tracksuit, rain jacket and a bag will be sold from Eurosport for the price of €160.00. A deposit of €10 shall be paid from the nursery as from today, from Monday to Friday from 6:30pm to 7:30pm. Eurosport will only sell the package upon presentation of the €10 receipt submitted by the Nursery and the remaining payment of €150. The package will be available for sale as from 12th September 2012 from Eurosport, Psaila Street, Birkirkara, Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00, Saturday from 09:00 to 15:00.
Between the 12th and the 15th September, Eurosport will organise a stand solely for the selling of the nursery uniform/package to better accommodate anyone ready to purchase it. The package can be purchased on any other day; however it is the wish of the nursery that every child will be attending for training in full kit by mid October.
As part of the agreement reached between the club and Eurosport, children registered with the Nursery and their families will benefit from a 30% discount on football shoes and 10% discount on other sports apparel. Football shoes and shin pads are mandatory. We encourage you to make use of the discounts mentioned above.
