Under 19's Team suffer second consecutive defeat

Birkirkara Under 19's team suffered their second consecutive and their fifth league defeat when this time they were defeated by last year's champions, Pieta Hotspurs with a 2-1 score.

After beating Hibernians with a 3-2 score, the Stripes suffered a 2-1 defeat to St. Andrews to register their second consecutive 2-1 defeat today as this time they were beaten by Pieta Hotspurs.

Shawn Deguara was the only scorer for the Stripes.

Birkirkara will be involved in the match on the 5 March when they will be eager to return to winning ways when they face a tricky test in form of St. Patrick's.
