FA Trophy - Match Preview | Birkirkara FC Vs. Lija Athletic FC

Birkirkara FC will take on Lija Athletic FC in the first round of the FA Trophy in a match that will be played tomorrow evening at the Centenary Stadium (Kick-Off – 20:30).
The Stripes are coming from three victories in the BOV Premier League as they defeated Mosta FC with a 1-0 score, Lija Athletic FC with a 4-1 score and secured a comfortable 3-0 victory against Zejtun Corinthians FC in their last match.
On the other hand, Lija are coming from one defeat and two positive results in their last three matches in the BOV Premier league. They lost against Birkirkara FC, a victory against Tarxien Rainbows FC with a 2-0 score and a 1-1 draw against Balzan FC in their last match.
Birkirkara FC and Lija Athletic FC have met twice so far this season, in the first round of the BOV Premier League they end up in a goal less draw and in the second round the Stripes emerged as winners with a 4-1 score. Federico Falcone, Ismael Borg (OG), Luke Montebello and Cain Attard scored for the stripes, while Fernando Brandan scored for Lija.
This match will take place nine days after the two sides met last week in the BOV Premier League.
