Birkirkara too strong for Vittoriosa

Birkirkara did as expected when they dominated Vittoriosa Stars and qualified for the fourth round of the U*BET FA Trophy thanks to a fine 4-0 win.

Jorge Mora released

Spanish goalkeeper Jorge Mora has asked the Club to terminate his contract, for personal reasons. The committee understood his situation, and both parties reached an amicable solution, and ended the contract with mutual consent. Mora is set to return to his homeland, Spain in the coming days.

John Buttigieg and Carmel Busutill to head Birkirkara Academy

John Buttigieg and Carmel Busutill have been appointed to head the Birkirkara FC Academy, after they agreed terms with our Club. This appointment is with immediate effect. In the transition period they will assist the current Nursery.

Birkirkara FC, through its Supporters Sub-Committee, would like to invite all the Club's members to a Christmas Party which will be held at Club's premises (on top of the McDonald's restaurant) on Wednesday, 21 December from 20:00 onwards.

MFA Disciplinary Commissioner's Decisions

The MFA Disciplinary Commissioner has announced that Andrew Decesare is suspended for two matches due to his retaliation on the Hibernians player Marcelo Dias during the match which was played last Sunday.

Birkirkara's crisis continued yesterday evening as 'The Stripes' were humiliated with a 5-0 defeat at the hands of Hibernians. For Birkirkara this was the third consecutive match without a win and without scoring a goal.
