Birkirkara ended their Euro Challenge Cup commitments, when on Friday, 'The Stripes' were easily beaten 4-0 by current BOV Premier League champions Hibernians.

The game itself didn't have much if a story, as a very weak Birkirkara team had no power to resist the 'Whites' who came out looking for a comfortable win in order to secure the Euro Challenge Cup title, something which they did.

Hibs took the lead after just six minutes through Terrence Scerri, and ten minutes later, the score read 2-0 with the goal being scored by Andrew Cohen.

In the second half, Birkirkara imporved their play, but on the contrary it was Hibs who scored twice, through the same Terrence Scerri and Andrew Cohen couple.

In a few days time, the Birkirkara FC squad will leave the island to face Slaven Belupo in Croatia, for the 1st Europa League Qualifying Round.
