Moises Avila Perez joins Birkirkara FC

Spanish striker Moises Avila Perez is the latest player to join Birkirkara FC. He has signed a one year contract with the Club.

Avila Perez was born on the 18 July, 1988 and after having a very successful spell with C.D. Tenerife, where he played 119 matches and scored no less than 82 goals, Moises joined A.T. Victoria in the 2009-2010 season.

With A.T. Victoria, Avila had a very successful two year spell where in the first season he played 28 matches and found the net 20 times to end up the second top scorer of the league. The second season was better, both for A.T. Victoria and for Moises. The latter played 38 matches and scored 25 goals, and ended up the top scorer of the league. A.T. Victoria were crowned League Champions and won the promotion.

Moises made his first appearance with our shirt on Monday 25 June in the defeat against Mosta as he was included in the second half where he had a good performance. Then on Wednesday and on Friday he had a five star performance and managed to score two hat tricks in the 4-1 and 5-1 wins against Tarxien and Vittoriosa respectively.
