Paul Zammit gives his views following elimination

Following yesterday's match where Birkirkara were unluckily eliminated with the away goal, a press conference was held and Mr. Paul Zammit gave the following comments about the match and the elimination from the first round.

"Congratulations to Metalurg for passing the round.

"We paid the price for the goals we conceeded in Malta, since we did not manage to score. However, I am very happy for my team. We had seven players from the Under 19 squad, and I am very proud of them. They are not afraid of anyone on the pitch, and the future is bright.

"At this particular moment we are all a bit sad because we failed to go through, but that's football. We tried to score and pressed hard, but our opponents were very compact at the back.

"We are eliminated, but we are leaving the competition with our heads held high."
