Women's team favourites to make them five in a row

Birkirkara Women's Team is on the course to register their fifth straight win this evening when they take on the newly-promoted side, Raiders FC.

With the highly anticipated match against Hibernians FC just one week away, the team has stepped up its performances, to peak in time for this match.

Following the first round defeat against Hibernians, the Stripes roared back with four straight wins as they defeated Gozo 4-0, Mgarr United 2-1, Pembroke Athleta 3-0 score, and Kirkop United 3-0 in the last match.

Birkirkara are currently second with twenty-one points from eight matches, three under leaders Hibernians and six over third-placed Gozo.

On the other hand, today's opponents, Raiders are currently second from bottom. They managed to win three points, in the only victory they registered when, they defeated Pembroke Athleta FC.

In the first round match, Birkirkara trounced Raiders with an 8-1 score.

The match is going to be played at the Luxol Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 20:15
