Birkirkara FC Women's Team's adventure in the Women's Knockout has came to an end in the Quarter-Final on Wednesday evening, as two goals in the extra-time period handed Hibernians a 3-1 victory after the score in the first ninety minutes was 1-1.

Alishia Sultana put the Stripes ahead after just one minute. Sarah Urpani did fine work on the right channel before crossing to the second post where she found Sultana. The fast winger entered the box and her shot gave no chance to goalkeeper Demicoli.

However, Hibernians equalised just two minutes later. Dorianne Theuma delivered a second-post corner kick in the direction of Dionne Tonna who unmarked placed a powerful header at the back of the net past the surprised Birkirkara goalkeeper.
