Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza was born on the 20 November 1981. He joined Birkirkara FC for the first time in 2004.

Jean Pierre began his career with Floriana, and he was promoted to the First Team during the 2000-2001 season. Despite making only two appearances he managed to score his first goal against Naxxar.

Considering his young age of 19 years, Mifsud Triganza was loaned out to the Third Division side Msida St. Joseph. He was one of the key players with Msida and he helped in no small way to win the promotion to the second division when in only ten matches, he managed to score no less than seventeen goals.

In the following season, Jean Pierre was loaned out to the same club again, where he had another very successful experience with once again as Msida won the Second Division with the deadly striker scoring twenty one goals in fourteen matches.

After these two successful season, Mifsud Triganza was not loaned out in the 2002-2003 season and began to win his place with his team, Floriana. In this season, he made seventeen appearances and scored four goals.

Season 2003-2004

The next season was better for the promising youngster as he continued to leave his mark with Floriana and in the Premier League as he made twelve appearances and scoring three goals before in the 2004 January Transfer Market, Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza joined Birkirkara F.C.

With Birkirkara, Jean Pierre made nine appearances and scored four goals to add his tally of this season for eight goals in 25 matches in the Premier League.

Season 2004-2005

The following 2004-2005 season was the first one for Mifsud Triganza with 'The Stripes' from the beginning and it was one to remember for him. Besides continuing to establish himself as a great striker by scoring 12 goals in 21 appearances in the Premier League, he won his first major honour ever when 'The Stripes' won the U*BET FA Trophy.

Season 2005-2006

If the 2004-2005 season was special, the 2005-2006 was even better for Jean Pierre, as in this season Jean Pierre win first ever Premier League when Birkirkara were crowned champions for the second time in their history. With 'The Stripes' Jean Pierre made 20 appearances in the Premier League and managed to score eight goals.

Season 2006-2007

The 2006-2007 season was a bit disappointing for Birkirkara but not for Mifsud Triganza as his scoring rate continued to prove his potential as in the Premier League he scored 11 goals from 20 matches.

In this season, Mifsud Triganza made 20 appearances in the Premier League as he managed to begin fourteen matches while he was included six times as a substitute.

Season 2007-2008

Jean Pierre won his second U*BET FA Trophy in the 2007-2008 season when after he managed to score 11 goals from 25 appearances in the Premier League. Birkirkara beat Hamrun with a 2-1 score in the final to win their fourth U*BET FA Trophy.

In the 2007-2008 season, Jean Pierre made 24 appearances in the Premier League in which he began in fifteen matches while he was included as a substitute nine times. In the same competition, Triganza managed to hit eleven goals to end the competition as the Club's best scorer.

Season 2008-2009

The 2008-2009 season brought a memorable event to Mifsud Triganza when on the 19 November 2008 he made his debut with National Team in the 1-0 defeat against Iceland. Unfortunately enough, that was the first and last performance for Mifsud Triganza with the National Team.

On the other hand, Mifsud Triganza had a positive season with the Stripes as In the Premier League, Jean Pierre made 25 appearances and scored eight goals with Birkirkara ending in the third position.

Season 2009-2010

In June 2009 Summer, Mifsud Triganza moved to Sliema Wanderers. He made his Premier League debut for Sliema Wanderers on 30 August 2009 in a 1-0 defeat to Qormi. Mifsud Triganza scored his first Premier League goal for Sliema Wanderers on 17 October 2009, and went onto score a hat trick in a 5-0 victory over Hamrun Spartans.

Season 2011-2012

After a two and a half year with Sliema Wanderers, in January 2012 Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza moved back to Birkirkara signing a three and a half year deal with The Stripes

Jean Pierre's first spell could be described as a positive one as after he joined our squad, the attacking department once again began to function as expected, besides, thanks to this acquisition, Mr. Zammit had another option in the forward line.

In the Premier League, he made 13 appearances. He started seven matches while he was included as a substitute in five. In his first season after re-joining our Club, he scored four goals while he was voted as the man of the match once.

Season 2012-2013

The 2012-2013 season was another season to remember for Mifsud Triganza, both for himself and the Club itself. While the Club clinched its fourth Premier League title, Mifsud Triganza managed to earn a regular place and he was one of the key players for the Stripes. He ended as the Club's second best scorer in this season.

In this memorable season, Triganza made 32 appearances in the Premier League and he started twenty-six matches while he was included as a substitute six times. Also, Mifsud Triganza managed to net ten goals, besides once being voted as the man-of-the match.
