Trevor Cilia was born on 2 January 1983 and he is another Birkirkara FC player who was very recently called to join the National Squad.

Trevor is another Floriana FC Product whose debut with the 'Greens' was in the Premier League of 2000 at the tender age of 17.

Trevor spent eight successful years with the 'Greens' and, with 135 appearances managed to score 21 goals.

In the Summer Transfer Market of 2008, Trevor was the main target of several main clubs including Birkirkara and it was 'The Stripes' who won Trevor's signature for two years.

The 2008-2009 season was not the best for Trevor, as due to his position of retire role of a right back, Trevor could not show off his skills and runs that are known to make it difficult for any defense to catch up with. Although not playing in his favorite position, Trevor still managed to score two goals.

Season 2009-2010 was a special one for Cilia as he was one of the most dangerous strikers of the season. With his daring runs on the wing, Trevor established himself as one of the most important players in the squad. Trevor was always there to spark the match with his skills that are so indispensable in the characteristics of a right winger. His crosses, whether from the deep or center part of the park, are most of the time good enough to be met by any of Birkirkara's forwards.

During this season, besides making a good number of assists, he has managed to rank as the 3rd best club scorer with 13 goals.

With 'The Stripes' Cilia has won his first ever Premier League title in 2010 when, on the 5th May he had the joy of lifting the title for the first time.

In June 2010, 'il-Bazzaz' as he is known among his fellow team mates and numerous fans, extended his stay with Birkirkara by another three years and was the first player to sign the new contract meaning that Trevor shall be wearing the yellow and red shirt, at least until the end of 2012-2013 season.

If the 2009-2010 season was one of the best seasons for Trevor, the 2010-2011 season was one of the worst seasons for him. Besides not reaching the previous season's level, he suffered a hamstring injury which kept him out of action for no less than three months.

In the Premier League Trevor made 16 appearances out of which, he started 14 times while he was included as a substitute twice. In the same competition, he managed to score twice and was voted the man of the match thrice.

After finding it difficult to keep a regular place with the First Team in the 2011-2012 season, Trevor Cilia moved to Sliema Wanderers in the 2012 January Transfer Market to end his three and a half year spell with our Club.

Trevor made 84 appearances with our Club and managed to score 22 goals. The most remembered goal was on the 28 March 2010 when the last game of the 3rd round of the 2009-2010 season in a direct clash against Valletta. He scored the only goal to put ‘The Stripes' four point clear. Birkirkara were crowned champions in that season with Trevor Cilia ending the 3rd best scorer for our Club with 13 goals.
