Joselito Dos Reis Santos hails from Brazil and he was born on 6 February 1991. He joined Birkirkara FC in the 2012 Summer Transfer Market.

Joselito signed his first professional contract with the Brazilian side Portuguese Santos SP.

In the season 2011-2012, Joselito moved to Bonsucesso, another club from Brazil, which he had already joined in 2008. In his second spell with this club, Joselito had a good spell, netting ten goals to help the club being crowned as Champions and promoted to the Brazilian Seria A.

Season 2012-2013

Following the release of Moises Avila Perez, the Committee and the Technical Staff of Birkirkara FC began to search for a suitable replacement and the choice fell on Joselito, who is not only a striker but can also play as an offensive midfielder, and also as a winger which offers great flexibility to the Coach.

Joselito was registered with the club on Wednesday 4 July 2012 and just one day later he made his debut in the first leg of the first qualifying round of the UEFA Europa League against Metalurg Skopje. Birkirkara showed a great attitude coming twice from behind to end the match in a 2-2 draw. Joselito began the match from the beginning and he had a very satisfactory performance and was substituted fifteen minutes from the end.

Joselito's season with our Club was conditioned with a long-term injury which faded all the positive ambitions as Joselito was unable to play till February after suffering an ankle injury after just the second match in the Premier League.

In the same competition, Joselito made 12 appearances, and he only three he started from the beginning and was included as a substitute nine times. Dos Reis still manage to get his name on the scorers' sheet in the competition as he netted four goals, and was voted once as man of the match.
