Andreas Vella was born on the 14 October 1998. He is one of the most promising goalkeepers on our island and he joined our Club in the 2016 Summer Transfer Market.
Andreas is a product of Qormi FC and he made it to the senior team at a very young age. At the age of sixteen years old, during the 2015-2016 season, he was a regular place between the posts as he did 17 appearances. During the same season, he was called-up to join the Under-19’s National Team squad.
During the 2016 Summer Transfer Market, Andreas was the target of many clubs, but it was the Stripes who managed to sign the promising goalkeeper as on Saturday, 18 June, he signed a five-year contract with our Club.
However, his spell with our Club was quite a short one as on Thursday, 26 January 2017, he moved to Mosta FC on a permanent move.With our Club, he made two appearances with the Under-19's Team.
