Jhon Obregon is from Colombia and he was born on the 8 February 1990. The towering forward joined our Club in the January Transfer Market 2017.
Obregon came through the ranks of the famous Argentina side Boca Juniors. However, in his professional career, he started in Bolivia where he had two successful seasons with La Paz and Nacional Potos. With La Paz he scored eight goals in twenty-four appearances while with Nactional, he made twenty-one appearances and scored seven goals.
He moved to Mexico and signed with Tiburones Rojos de Veracruz in 2013 where he made seven appearances before he moved to Thailand and joined Ratchaburi FC in July. With Rarchaburi, he made twelve appearances and scored four goals.
In the following year, he returned with his former club Nacional in Bolivia where he made four appearances, before moving to Brazil to join Guarani. With the Brazilian side, he made six appearances and scored one goal.
Obregon joined Bahréin Riffa Club in the beginning of 2015 where he made four appearances and scored one goal, before in summer, he moved to Cyprus to join Ethnikos Achnas. With the Cypriot Club, he made eleven appearances and scored three goals.
Season 2016-2017
Jhon moved to Macedonia in the season 2016-2017 where he joined the current champions FK Vardar. With the Macedonian club, he made eighth appearances and scored three goals.
In the January Transfer Market, the Stripes were looking to strengthen their attacking department and they signed the Colombian striker on a one year and a half contract on Monday, 30 January.
