Branko Nisevic is from Serbia and he was born on 31 August 1971. In his career he was both a player and a coach with Birkirkara FC.

Branko was brought to Malta by Hibernians F.C. and he made his debut with them in the 2000-2001 season. In the next season he won his major honour with them as ‘The Peacocks' won the Championship for the ninth time. With Hibernians he spent four seasons before being released in July in the 2004 Summer Transfer Window. With Hibernians he played a total of 89 games and managed to find the net six times.

After his spell with Hibernians, the Serbian defender joined Pieta Hotspurs however his spell only lasted until January as in the last days of the 2005 January Transfer Window, Valletta FC managed to sign Branko with them.

After a successful spell with Valletta that lasted for two seasons, in the 2007 Branko joined Sliema Wanderers. He managed to win the U*BET FA Trophy in 2009 when Sliema Wanderers defeated Branko's former team Valletta thanks to a penalty shoot-out.

In 2009, Birkirkara's coach Johnny Buttigieg did not renew his contract as he was called to coach the National Team. Mr. Paul Zammit filled the vacancy and he chose Branko Nisevic as his Assistant Coach, and as Coach of the Under 19 Squad.

Since Mr. Paul Zammit was not fully convinced with the signings in that transfer window, he offered Branko to join the squad as a player as well, and in the last days of the 2009 Summer Transfer Market, Branko Nisevic agreed a one year deal. Against some expectations, Branko proved himself as still being a valid player.

Teaming up with another Serbian defender, Nikola Vukanac, central defenders, Branko's performances was always solid and convincing. In that season Birkirkara went beyond all exceptions and they managed to win the Championship for the third time in their history. Branko made 25 appearances and he started all the matches from the beginning. He also managed to find the net once in the match against Hibernians which was played on 18 January 2010.

In the following season Branko retired from his playing career, but he stayed on with the Club as the Assistant Coach of the Senior Squad, and Coach of the Under 19 Squad. The season was quite disappointing as ‘The Stripes' failed to defend their title and ended in the third place while they were knocked out in the semi final of the U*BET FA Trophy by Floriana.

The following season Branko left Birkirkara FC to continue his coaching career with the MFA.
