In Europe yet again

With the 0-0 result secured in the last fixture of this year's BOV Premier League against Sliema W., Birkirkara have now made it twelve, the number of consecutive years that the side has qualified for the preliminary rounds of a European competition.

In the upcoming season, Birkirkara will play in the preliminary rounds of the Europa League (formally known as the UEFA Cup). So far our team has played twice in the UEFA Champions League, ten times in the UEFA Cup, and just a single time in the Intertoto Cup which has now been abolished.
