Birkirkara drawn against Slaven

During the Europa League 1st qualifying round draws held on Monday, Birkirkara were draw to play the first leg away from home against Croatian side Slaven Koprivnica.

The first leg against the Croats will be played on the second of July, with the return leg in Malta scheduled to played on the ninth.

On the 28th of August of last year, Slaven Koprivnica (also known as Slaven Belupo) have successfuly managed to qualify for the now abolished UEFA Cup thanks to a 2-1 aggregate victory over Aris of Greece.
