Championship resumed

The Malta Football Assosication has decided to resume the BOV Premier League 2009-2010 season following a meeting held on the 17th of September.

Furthermore, the M.F.A. has decided to promote Msida St. Joseph and Hamrun Spartans from the first division, in order to fill the space of recently relegated Marsaxlokk and Vittoriosa, who were charged of committing corruption acts during the past season.

The BOV Premier League will resume in the weekend between the 25th and 27th of September with the third round of matches, which were originally scheduled to be played between the 14th and 16th of this same month.

The five matches in programme are: Msida St. Joseph vs Qormi; Floriana vs Tarxien Rainbows; Hibernians vs Dingli Swallows; Birkirkara vs Hamrun Spartans; Sliema Wanderers vs Valletta.
