Andrei Agius's loan expires.

Andrei Agius's loan spell with Birkirkara came to an end as yesterday his contract expired and he will return to his team AS Melfi of Italia.

Andrei joins Birkirkara in January 2011 and he made a dream debut against Vittoriosa Stars which was played on Sunday 30 January when Andrei scored a wonderful volley which resulted to be the winning goal as 'The Stripes' won the game with his solitary goal.

With Birkirkara Andrei made 13 appearances which he started all the thirteen matches, and as said earlier, he managed to score one goal with 'The Stripes.

Since his loan spell had ended, this means that for next Thursday's game against Vllaznia, Andrei will not be available and with Antonio Gomes ruled out injured, things in the defence are not going as wished.
