Mr. Patrick Curmi gives his comments about the San Blas activity

by Ayrton Galea - 21st July 2011

Yesterday evening the Birkirkara FC squad played a beneficent game with some of the San Blas' patients. We asked Head Coach Mr. Patrick Curmi to tell us what all this was about.

"Yesterday we went to San Blas and had a great time together. We played six halves of 15 minutes each and I can't tell the score because there were too many goals to count. However the aim was not too see how much we were going to score, but so that they could have great time with us. They had two very good players."

"They welcomed us a lot. There was big enthusiasm from them. The few goals they scored were met with applause and cheering. "

"There was a very good attendance from the committee members and even the Club's President attended accompanied by his wife. The attendance of the committee surely shows respect and also shows how united we are."

"Finally we presented them with a Birkirkara FC football gear and even some tokens. They appreciated this a lot. In my last words I wish to send my regards to Daniel, the youngster with special needs. It's incredible that wherever we go, he is there."
