Birkirkara to face Melita in first match of the league

Birkirkara FC will face Melita FC in the first fixture of the BOV Premier League 2012-2013. The draws were held at the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Floriana.

BOV Chief Officer Operatians Mr Galea assisted MFA CEO Bjorn Vassallo in the drawing of fixtures for all divisions, both male and female, of the BOV National Football Leagues.

Mr. Galea opened, “To commemorate the eight season of Bank of Valletta's support for the national football leagues, we are launching a limited edition BOV Premier League MasterCard Prepaird Card having a denomination of 150 Euros. The new card features tthe BOV Premier League Trophy being lifted in celebration and is the second edition of themed prepaid cards following the first themed prepaird card featuring the attractive UEFA Champions League logo last year.”

He added, “The limited edition of BOV Premier League MasterCard Prepaid Card is now available from all BOV Branches. Bank of Valletta is the only bank in Malta to offer prepaid cards, which are ideal as a gift, to make payments over the internet, and when travelling abroad.”

The MFA CEO Mr. Vassallo said, “The Malta Football Association is very pleased that the main sponsors of the National League are showing so much drive and enthusiasm in supporting local football as well as providing incentives for the benefit of the public.”

He went on by saying. “The images and structure of Maltese Football is growing and this thanks to the MFA's and its member clubs' investment, besides the backing of those who invest funds, in this case the Bank of Valletta. Football offers a wide platform of opportunities and both the MFA and the Bank of Valletta are in forefront in the strengthening this cause.”
