Leighton Grech loaned to Qormi

Birkirkara FC and Qormi FC today reached an agreement for the loan of Leighton Grech for one year.

Leighton is a Hibernians' product and in the 2011 Summer Transfer Market he signed a five year contract with our Club.

Following not finding enough playing opportunity with the First Team, in the 2012 January transfer window, Leighton moved to Vittoriosa Stars on loan till the end of the season where he helped his team achieving the fifth place in the First Division League.

We would like to wish Leighton the best of luck, and hope he gains more valuable Premier League experience with Qormi.
