Shaun Bajada moves to Valletta FC

by Ivan Mizzi - 9th August 2012

Shaun Bajada is no longer a Birkirkara F.C. player as today the international midfielder joined arch rivals Valletta on a permanent transfer.

Shaun joined our Club in the 2007-2008 season and Birkirkara went on to win their fourth U*BET FA Trophy.

His most memorable season with our Club was in the 2009-2010 when Birkirkara won their third BOV Premier League title and he had an excellent season where he scored the decisive goal which helped Birkirkara claim the title. Later on, he was voted as the MFA Football of Year where he was the first Birkirkara player ever to win this award.

With Birkirkara, Shaun made 117 appearances in the Premier League as he began 106 matches while included in 11 matches. He managed to scored 17 goals while he was voted three times the man of the match.

We would like to thank Shaun for his service towards our while wishing him all the best of luck in his personal life.
