Andrew Scicluna loaned to Mqabba FC

Birkirkara FC and Mqabba FC have reached an agreement for the loan of Andrew Scicluna for one season. Although the Transfer Market is officialy closed, this loan can go ahead since Andrew has an amateur status.

Andrew Scicluna is a Birkirkara Youth Nursery product. He was unlucky to suffer a long term injury last season where he was loaned to Mqabba. After having made six appearances, he suffered the injury on Sunday, 25 September against Balzan Youths. This injury kept him out of play for the rest of the season.

The promising youngster is most remembered for his solid performances in the 2009-2010 season where Birkirkara won the third league in their history. In that season, which was his last season with our Club he made eight appearances in which he started in four and included as a substitute in another four.

We would like to wish the best of luck to Andrew in his new adventure, and hope he gains more experience with Mqabba FC.
