Angus Buhagiar joins Naxxar Lions FC

Angus Buhagiar is no longer a Birkirkara F.C. player as today he joined 1st Division side Naxxar Lions FC on a permanent transfer.

Angus joined our Club in the 2008-2009 season and in his first season he made seventeen appearances as he started seven matches and was included as a substitute in ten. He was playing as a winger managed to score three goals.

In the 2009-2010 season, Angus reached the peak of his career when he won his first Premier League title, and the third one for Birkirkara. Angus was deployed in the side back position where he made 21 appearances and managed to score one goal.

In Season 2010-2011 Angus made 24 appearances, and in the last season with our Club, the 2011-2012 season, Angus played 28 matches and scored one goal.

In his four year spell with our Club, Angus played in 91 mataches, as he started 72 matches and he was included as a substiture in another 19. He managed to score five goals in all.
