Women's Team to face rivals Mosta

Birkirkara FC's Women Team will be involved in a difficult match tomorrow evening when they will face rivals and main title challengers, Mosta.
Champions Birkirkara began their defence of the league title in style as they trashed Hamrun Spartans with a 7-0 score, with Rachel Cuschieri notching a hat-trick.
On the other hand, Mosta also started their league campaign with a big victory as they defeated Tarxien Rainbows with a very comfortable 10-0 score.
Both teams already met once this season as they competed for the Super Cup which was won by Mosta thanks to penalty shoot out.
Matches between these two big forces in Women's local football were always balanced and entertaining. In fact, the last match that was won in the ninety minutes goes back almost a year ago, when on the 25th October 2011, Birkirkara defeated Mosta with a 1-0 score.
The match will be played at the Charles Abela Stadium in Mosta and it is scheduled to kick off at 20:00.
