Women's Team to face Tarxien

Birkirkara FC's Women's team returned to winning ways in their last outing against Gozo, and they will start as hot favourites when they will face bottom-placed Tarxien Rainbows.
After Birkirkara were held twice in a draw against Mosta and Hibernians respectively, in a match characterised with heavy rain, the Stripes managed to get back on track for the title challenge as they defeated Gozo with a 2-0 score, thanks to goals by Rachel Cuschieri and Kim Parnis.
On the other hand, Tarxien are still finding it hard to adapt to the top level of Women's football as they are placed at the bottom with Hamrun Spartans with just one point each.
In the first round, Birkirkara trounced Tarxien with a score of 8-0.
The match will be played at the Tarxien Grounds and it is scheduled to kick off at 20:00.
