Under 16's Girls end league on sweet note

Birkirkara Under 16's Girls ended their positive 2012-2013 league campaign on a fine note when they defeated Gozo with a 3-0 score.

Therefore, the Under 16's Girls ended their league commitments in the third place behind Pembroke and Mosta respectively.

Mariah Sciberras put Birkirkara in the lead mid-way through the first half following a perfect pass by Kelly Groves. Mariah Sciberras made them two early in the second half and just few minutes later Alishia Sultana made them three with a fine solo-action.

The Birkirkara Under 16's girls will be now involved in the Under 16's Girls Knock Out on Sunday 21 April in a match against Mgarr United. The match will be played at the Gharghur Grounds and it is scheduled to kick off at 10:00.
