Three players from women team suspended

The MFA Disciplinary Commissioner has announced that three Birkirkara Women players, that is Maryrose Cardona, Kelly Agius Pace and Stephania Farrugia will be suspended for the next decisive match against Mosta which will be played next Tuesday.

Maryrose Cardona was banned for no less than five matches while Kelly Agius Pace and Stephania Farrugia were banned for two matches. While Maryrose was sent-off during the match, Kelly Agius Pace and Stephania Farrugia were reported for alleged incidents after the match.

This decision meant that in case that Birkirkara and Mosta will end next Tuesday's clash all square, they will be suspended as well for the eventual decider. Else, all the three players will be suspended in the Women's Knockout.
