Birkirkara Under 15's Team's excellent start of the league makes a bold statement of the team's aspirations for this season. Last Sunday, in a match played at the Siggiewi grounds, they registered their second consecutive victory with a very comfortable 7-0 score against Mellieha.

The Stripes have launched their league campaign on a high note as in their first match played two weeks ago, they completely trashed Balzan FC to defeat them with a score of 8-0. This comfortable victory boosted the squad's morale and this was shown in the Stripes' second match as once again they confirmed the team's potential to register another big victory.

The match was a one side story as the Stripes dominated the match throughout the whole ninety minutes as the score shows for itself. The Birkirkara players deserve all the credit for this five-star performance as right from the start, they were tactically and physically stronger than their opponents.

The Stripes were rewarded for their efforts as at the end of the first half, they already had three goals to their names, thanks to goals from Jordan Sciberras, Karl Caruana and Julian Camilleri, which left little doubt were the three points were heading.

With the three points almost certainly in the bag, Coach Mr. John Vella effected all five possible substitutions but this did not weaken the team's strength in any way, as all the substitutes continued where their team-mates left off, as they continued to have the upper hand and scoring more goals.

Karl Caruana completed the hat-trick in the second half as he added another two goals for the Stripes. Goals by Gianluca Zammit and substitute Sergio Conti sealed the issue for the Stripes.

First Eleven: Justin Micallef, Jordan Sciberras, Justin Cardona, Nicholas Farrugia, Julian Camillery, Gary Spiteri, Karl Caruana, Neil Micallef, Gianluca Zammit, Isaac Ciranna, Ayrton Attard.
