Birkirkara FC Women's Team registered their second consecutive victory on Tuesday evening when they defeated Kirkop United 5-1.

Three goals inside the first forty-five minutes were enough to pave the way for the Stripes and after Kirkop pulled one back after the break, the Champions remained dominant and scored another two goals to seal the issue.

Martina Cilia put the Stripes ahead early in the match and Kim Parnis made them two after the half-hour mark. Few minutes before the half-time whistle, Gabriella Zahra, who was back following missing the last games, made them three for the Stripes.

After the break, Kirkop made a reaction and managed to narrow the gap thanks to Paula Natalia Villarga Melo, but goals by Alishia Sultana and another goal by Kim Parnis sealed the issue for the Stripes.

During the match, Mr. Johann Scicluna made only substitution as on the 86th minute Raina Giusti replaced Alishia Sultana.

Thanks to this victory, the Stripes kept the pace with leaders Hibernians and they will be involved in the next match next Tuesday when they take on Raiders FC.

Substitute: 86' Raina Giusti.

Scorers: Kim Parnis (2), Martina Cilia, Gabriella Zahra, Alishia Sultana.
