Under-19's Team defeat Msida SJ in Knockout

Birkirkara FC Under-19's Team advanced to the third round of the Youths' Knockout on Thursday evening when they defeated the Section B side of Msida Saint Joseph FC with a result of 4-1.

In a match where the Stripes enjoyed a clear edge over their opponents for long stretches, Russell Gatt De Raffaele scored a brace while Leon Zammit and Kurt Zammit scored a goal each to handle Birkirkara the qualification to the next round of the competition.

The Stripes will be facing Vittoriosa Stars FC in the third round of the competition. Date, time and venue are still to be announced.
