Vyacheslav Shevchenko and Birkirkara FC part ways

by Ivan Mizzi - 24th December 2014

Birkirkara FC and Ukrainian forward Vyacheslav Shevchenko have parted ways.

Vyacheslav joined our Club on the 1 September 2014 but the Ukrainian forward failed to find space in Birkirkara's forward line. He only made four appearances. He only once started a match from the beginning, and in the other three appearances he was included as a substitute in the second half.

Before joining our Club, Shevchenko enjoyed very positive spells in Ukraine. He played for, Lokomotiv Tashkent, which he joined in January 2014. With them he played seven matches and scored one goal. Before, he was on the books of PFC Oleksandria. He joined them in 2010-2011 and he had sixty-nine appearances and scored 21 goals till December 2013.

We would like to thank Vyacheslav for his service towards our Club while wishing him all the best luck in his personal life and football career.
