Stripes seek Quarter Final berth in FA Trophy

Birkirkara FC will start as favourites to reach the Quarter Finals of the Malta FA Trophy, when they take on BOV Second Division's side, Siggiewi FC.

The Stripes are enjoying an eighth game unbeaten run, out of which they won seven matches. Birkirkara made it to this round by eliminating Hamrun Spartans with a very comfortable 7-1 score in the third round of the competition.

On the other hand, Siggiewi are occupying the ninth place in the BOV Second Division standings. They are coming from a 3-2 defeat against fourth-placed Senglea Athletic. Siggiewi advanced to this round thanks to a surprise 5-2 victory over First Division side, Zurrieq.

The match will be played at the Centenary Stadium and is scheduled to kick off at 20:15.
