Domestic competitions dates for the 2015-2016 season

The Malta Football Association announced the dates for the domestic competitions for the coming season. The season will kick-off with the BOV Super Cup on Wednesday 12th August between FA Trophy winners Birkirkara and League Champions Hibernians. The BOV Premier League will kick-off on Friday 21st August.

The BOV Premier League first phase comes to an end on the 14 February and the second phase kicks-off on the 20th February. The last league match is scheduled for Saturday 30 April.

Unlike previous years, the Youth League will kick-off in August. The first matches from Sections A and B will be played on August 19. The last games from the Youth League are scheduled for April 7 with the Youth Knock-Out semi-finals programmed for April 19 and the final for April 27.

The Women's Super Cup final is scheduled for Tuesday, 29 September while the BOV Women's Leagues will kick-off on Tuesday, 6 October. The last games from the Women's League are scheduled for April 19. The Women's Knock-Out semi-finals are scheduled on April 25 and 26 and the final on May 5.
