Dejan Djordjevic signs for the Stripes

by Ivan Mizzi - 12th July 2016

Birkirkara FC remained active during the Summer Transfer Market, as just a few moments ago, Serbian forward Dejan Djordjevic signed a one year contract with our Club.

Djordjevic is a promising twenty-three year old striker, who could also be deployed on the left-wing. He is described as a technical striker and a fine finisher, and he is well-known for his attacking skills. During the last season, he was a regular choice at FK Sloboda Uzice, in the second tier of Serbian football. He made thirty appearances and scored ten goals, to end the season as the team's top scorer.

The Serbian forward is the fourth new foreigner for the Stripes, following the arrival of defender Predrag Jovic and the midfield duo of Srdjan Dimitrov and Bruno Marotti.

We would like to welcome Dejan, while we would like to wish him all the best of luck in his adventure with our Club.
