Eight Birkirkara FC players called-up with the Women's National Team

Eight Birkirkara FC players have been called-up to the Women's National Team, led by Coach Mark Gatt, for the Aphrodite Cup which is going to be played in Cyprus between the 11 and 15 March.

Janice Xuereb, Alishia Sultana, Ann-Marie Said, Gabriella Zahra, Kelly Agius Pace, Kim Parnis, Stephania Farrugia and Yasmeen Vella are the Birkirkara FC players called-up for this competition.

Malta are in Group A, with Latvia and Cyprus. Malta will take on Lativa on Saturday, 11 March while one days later, Cyprus will face Latvia. The group commitments will come to end with the match between Cyprus and Malta on the 13 March. The final and the matches to determine the third and fifth places respectively will be played match on Wednesday, 15 March.
