Struggling Stripes to take on Lija Athletic

A struggling Birkirkara FC side will be desperate to return to winning ways in the BOV Premier League this evening, when they will face Lija Athletic FC.

The Stripes lay in an unusual tenth place as they lost three out of the last four matches. They are coming from two consecutive 3-0 defeats against Valletta FC and Sliema Wanderers FC.

On the other hand, newly-promoted Lija Athletic are in the last place with one point obtained in seven matches, and they are still seeking their first win. They lost to Valletta FC with a 4-2 score in their last outing.

The match will be played at the Victor Tedesco Stadium and will kick off at 18:00. Transport from Valley Road leaves at 17:00.
