Tracy Teuma joins Birkirkara FC on a permanent move

by Ayrton Galea - 20th July 2018

Birkirkara FC Women's Team made another significant signing when they secured the services of playmaker Tracy Teuma on a permanent move. Teuma has been on loan with our Club for the last two seasons and she established herself as a key-player for the Stripes.

Following joining our Club on loan for the last two seasons, Teuma has made her first ever permanent move in her career when she has joined the Stripes to end a long-spell under the helm of Gozo FC. During her career, she has also played for Raiders FC.

Teuma joined our Club on July 2016, and she has established herself as one of the best players while helping the Stripes to secure back-to-back titles. During last season, the technical play-maker played a key-role in helping the Stripes to complete a domestic sweep-out by winning all three honours.

The twenty-seven-year-old offensive player was Birkirkara's second-best scorer with fourteen goals from twenty-one domestic matches. Besides her scoring abilities, Teuma is well-known for her vision and technique, making her one of the most lethal forwards in women's football.

We would like to wish Tracy all the best of luck and more successful seasons with our Club.
